A man was found hanging from an exit sign during rush hour in Queens early Wednesday, authorities said.

“It was a horrible sight,” a police source said. “I’m sure drivers were spitting up their morning coffee.”

Horrified motorists spotted John Rynne, 57, dangling at Exit 31 on the east side of the Cross Island Parkway near Northern Boulevard in Bayside at around 6:50 a.m., according to police.

“He is clever and creative in the way he hanged himself,” another police source said, adding that it appeared to be a suicide.

People who spotted Rynne on Wednesday took to Twitter to describe the gruesome sight.

“Just saw a body hanging going east on the Cross Island Parkway#traffic#WTF,” said user Trini3.

Another user, Young OG, chimed in saying “Dude was just pale….scary sight.”
